These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of lumeraservices.org and any services provided by Lumera Services, LLC (“Lumera,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this website, submitting a consultation request, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of services
Lumera Services, LLC is a tax, bookkeeping, credit, business, personal-document, and administrative support firm based in New Jersey. We provide administrative, preparation, and consulting support, including:
- Tax preparation and ITIN application assistance
- Credit repair and financial advocacy services
- Bookkeeping and QuickBooks support
- Business formation, ongoing filings, and digital business setup
- Personal administrative, career, and records-request support
- In-office and mobile notary services
- Certified translation and apostille coordination
Lumera does not provide legal advice, investment advice, CPA or audit services, financial planning, debt settlement, creditor negotiation, or representation before the IRS, courts, or government agencies unless expressly agreed in writing. Lumera is not a law firm or CPA firm. All formal services require a signed Client Services Agreement and applicable service order.
2. Administrative and advisory limitation
Lumera provides administrative preparation and strategic support only. We do not guarantee credit-score increases, deletion of credit-report items, tax-refund amounts, or government-filing approval. Outcomes depend on third-party agencies, credit-reporting agencies, data furnishers, financial institutions, and government authorities.
3. Engagement requirements
No service begins without a signed Client Services Agreement and any required retainer or deposit stated in writing. Work is considered initiated once a client file is opened, documentation is reviewed, research begins, forms are prepared, system entries are made, or communications are initiated on the client's behalf.
4. Scope of services
Services are limited to what is described in the signed service order or agreement. Work outside the defined scope requires written modification and may require additional fees.
5. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful information; reviewing drafts; approving final documents; maintaining copies of records; and responding promptly. Clients retain responsibility for the accuracy of information submitted to tax authorities, credit bureaus, and other third parties.
6. Payments, deposits, and refunds
- A minimum deposit or retainer may be required before services begin.
- Deposits become non-refundable once services are initiated.
- Fees compensate Lumera for administrative work performed—not outcomes.
- Government and third-party fees are separate unless expressly stated.
Lumera may suspend or terminate services for nonpayment. Files inactive for 30 days without client response may be closed as abandoned.
7. Credit repair services
Credit repair and financial advocacy services are provided in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations. Credit-reporting agencies and data furnishers independently determine investigation outcomes. Lumera does not guarantee removal of any credit-report item or a specific credit-score increase.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
A chargeback or payment dispute for services already performed may constitute a material breach. Lumera may suspend or terminate the engagement, contest the dispute with supporting documentation, and pursue recovery of unpaid balances, fees, and associated costs.
9. Electronic communications and signatures
By engaging Lumera, you consent to electronic communications, signatures, and document delivery. You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and monitoring communications sent to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumera's total liability for a claim arising from services will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the preceding three months. Lumera is not liable for third-party decisions, client-provided inaccuracies, government delays, credit-score fluctuations, or indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Any claim must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to it.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by New Jersey law except where federal law applies. Disputes arising under these Terms must be brought in courts located in New Jersey.
12. Multi-state services
Lumera provides services nationwide where permitted by law. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are legally eligible to engage the applicable service in their jurisdiction.
13. Website use
